Kidnappings and general unrest in this part of Niger has seen all the major charities discontinue work here. Aslan is able to be of assistance to some of the thousands being displaced from outlying villages to Diffa due to long-standing relationships in the area with food distribution, wells that are open to the community, and basic shelters.
