Through a partnership with the Hazara Foundation, Aslan is sponsoring a bakery in Kabul that is providing free bread to some of the most needy. Neighborhoods have been chosen and surveyed according to need. The elderly, the disabled, and widows are given vouchers that give them bread for a month. Then the needs are assessed again. The bakery also provides employment for several. We hope to do more as we are able.
