Calling the poor to the love of God through local partnership and
acts of kindness
Working with the marginalized and the poor is rarely easy. It's more often intensely difficult and painful, and a lot of the time there aren't silver linings. But Aslan is committed to sharing God's love to those who need it the most.
Through long-term local partnerships, Aslan is making a difference in the lives of thousands of children and families. From meals to medicine to education, Aslan is reaching to the ends of the earth with the love of God in very tangible ways.
We minister by providing trauma care, hygiene kits, meals for the hungry, and medical care to those in need. We do whatever it takes to help the poor, starting with their most basic material needs.
We minister to the world through long-term relationships with local pastors and churches. We serve in refugee camps, schools, hospitals, and homes.
We train and teach the poor through job training, hygiene instruction, agricultural guidance, and biblical training and teaching so they can minister to their community's needs and then pass that knowledge down to another generation.
Love is not patronizing and charity isn't about pity, it is about love. Charity and love are the same -- with charity you give love, so don't just give money but reach out your hand instead.
